I have been single for a while now and although I am enjoying my life and all it has to offer, I am still missing that special person. I work full time and enjoy my job and am attending Uni part time, so I can't complain about much.
I have always wanted to start a business to get single people together but was not sure that I could do it by myself, but when Vicki also had the same passion - it was destiny that we jointly commenced this venture together. Vicki and I have been friends now for over 6 years and we are hoping through Dinner With Friends that we can be the instigators of some great friendships to come.
We are NOT a dating agency, we are NOT about match making. Our goal is to introduce people in a non threatening environment where you can make friends without any pressure that you HAVE to impress the other person. We want you to be yourself, to enjoy yourself and RELAX in the company of great friends.
First and foremost I am a Mum of three and love my children dearly. I also work full time and lead a happy and fulfilling life. Basically I am very content in my life and consider myself to be extremely fortunate to have such a wonderful family as well as a large circle of the best friends you could wish for.
Getting to this point wasnt always easy. Where do you go when you want to start again. And ... I must admit ... there are times when it would be so nice to have someone special to share "moments" with.
With this in mind - our concept of Dinner With Friends came about. In our age group it can be difficult to make new friends so Linda and I want to make the "single" road a little smoother. Whether you are looking for love, or you are new to Perth, maybe you just want to get out of the house occasionally to go out for dinner, widen your social circle, whatever your reason - we want to be there to help you.
